Monsterboards range of skate and extreme sports products appeals directly to the urban fashion conscious kids market. The concept behind Monster Boards came from researching urban street culture and the direction the youth market was taking in extreme sports at the end of 2008.

Aimed predominantly at a young market (5+), the character designs were created through fun, loose and abstract imagery reflecting the more popular skate products on the market at the time.

The characters work well as a group or alone creating a useful marketing tool to act out scenes and concepts of the monster world provoking children’s imagination to create a brand which can be more than just a single product, but more of a range.
